Rodrigo Conde and Caetano Horta reach World Rowing Championship final
Spanish rowers Rodrigo Conde and Caetano Horta have qualified for the men's double sculls final at the World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam. After finishing second in their heats and quarterfinals at Lake Bosbaan, the duo secured their place in the A final with a time of 6:30.25, finishing behind crews from the Netherlands and Serbia.
In other Spanish news, Jaime Canalejo and Javier García have also advanced to the semifinals in the men's coxless pair. They recorded the best time in their heat and will compete for a spot in the final on Friday. Meanwhile, the women's coxless pair consisting of Virginia Díaz Rivas and Iria Jarama Díaz failed to qualify for the semifinals after finishing last in their heat.
