Rodrigo Cuevas closes Oviedo's Fiestas de San Mateo

Musician Rodrigo Cuevas performed at the Fiestas de San Mateo in Oviedo, closing the festivities with a concert at the Ería venue. The event, part of his ‘La Belleza’ tour, drew more than 4,000 attendees.

Cuevas, a recipient of the National Prize for Current Music, presented his third album, ‘Manual de Belleza,’ which blends folklore, tradition, cabaret, and electronic music. The performance also featured appearances by Rozalén and Rodrigo Cuevas at the Cathedral Square in support of Rosón and Fernández.

The concert followed a period of local controversy after Cuevas publicly questioned the city's festival model, leading to tensions with the City Council regarding his participation. Following the Oviedo date, his tour is scheduled to continue through Spain, Portugal, and France.
