Rodrigo Dourado joins FC Juárez on loan from Club América
FC Juárez has officially announced the signing of Brazilian midfielder Rodrigo Dourado on loan from Club América for the remainder of the Liga MX Apertura 2026 tournament. The 32-year-old central midfielder arrives to bolster the Juárez squad following an injury to Paraguayan player Lucas Romero.
Dourado brings extensive experience to the Mexican league, having previously played for Atlético San Luis in 2022. His move to Juárez follows a stint with Club América, where he participated in 22 official matches. The transfer was delayed due to an administrative issue that placed FC Juárez on FIFA's transfer ban list starting July 27, 2026, stemming from pending documentation updates regarding the club's legal society.
In addition to his Liga MX experience, Dourado has a distinguished international background, including an Olympic gold medal with Brazil's U-23 team at the 2016 Rio Olympics and experience in the Copa Libertadores.
