Rodrigo Fabri reflects on Real Madrid error and Endrick

Former Brazilian footballer Rodrigo Fabri has reflected on his career, stating that his decision to sign with Real Madrid in 1998 was an error. Despite joining the club for ten million euros, Fabri never made an official debut for the team, spending his five-year contract on various loans and playing only in friendly matches.

Fabri noted that while he felt immense frustration and believed he had earned a place in the squad after a successful loan spell at Valladolid, the club continued to loan him out instead of integrating him. He expressed that clubs like Roma or Deportivo de La Coruña might have provided the continuity needed to consolidate his career.

Regarding current Brazilian talent, Fabri advised young player Endrick that if he is not receiving sufficient playing opportunities, it would be best to move to another team to ensure development. He also commented on the need for a generational shift in the Brazilian national team, suggesting that the squad requires technical regeneration to return to its former prominence.
