Rodrigo Villagra nears contract trigger with Internacional

Rodrigo Villagra is one match away from triggering a decisive clause in his contract with Internacional. The Argentine midfielder, currently on loan from CSKA Moscow, needs to reach 31 appearances to obligate Internacional to acquire a portion of his economic rights.

Villagra has participated in 30 matches so far. However, a recent suspension due to a third yellow card against Chapecoense will prevent him from reaching the milestone in the upcoming match against São Paulo. His next opportunity to trigger the clause will be in the match against Corinthians on October 7, provided he is selected by coach Paulo Pezzolano.
