Rio Branco announces bicycle lane expansion and social initiatives

Various social, civic, and infrastructure initiatives are being implemented across several Brazilian regions. In Rio Branco, Mayor Alysson Bestene announced plans to expand the city's bicycle lane network, including new segments in the Paz and Universitário neighborhoods and a connection between the Usina de Arte and the airport.

In the same city, the municipal government is supporting a solidarity race to raise R$ 5.2 million (approximately US$ 1 million) for clinical studies for two children, Pedro and Tiago. Meanwhile, the Public Ministry of Acre (MPAC) is bringing citizenship services to the rural areas of Rodrigues Alves, providing healthcare, legal guidance, and document issuance. In Mato Grosso, the Public Ministry is hosting a mobile ombudsman service in Várzea Grande to offer legal and health assistance, while Sesc-MT is distributing 353 free prescription glasses to patients treated during recent health mobilizations.

Other community efforts include CMO Construtora donating a house to the Pastoral da Moradia in the Goiânia metropolitan area, and a charity bazaar in Santa Catarina organized by the União do Vegetal to fund social and medical programs. Sports events are also underway, including the Acreano Footvolley Circuit and the Goiano Men's Volleyball Championship.
