Rodrygo expected to resume Real Madrid training in September
Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo is expected to return to on-field training in September as he recovers from a serious right knee injury. The Brazilian player suffered ligament and meniscus ruptures in March during a match against Getafe.
Following months of intensive physiotherapy and rehabilitation, Rodrygo has regained the ability to walk normally and has begun attending training sessions at the Valdebebas center. While he is nearing a return to pitch activities, it is anticipated that he will not be able to participate in competitive matches until next year.
Due to the departure of Dani Carvajal, Rodrygo has also seen a rise in his standing within the club, moving into the fourth position in the team's captaincy hierarchy, following Federico Valverde, Vini Jr, and Thibaut Courtois.
