Rodtang Jitmuangnon apologizes to ONE Championship, re‑signs contract

Thai Muay Thai star Rodtang "The Iron Man" Jitmuangnon formally withdrew his earlier forgery allegations against ONE Championship, stating the promotion has always paid him more than the amounts listed in his contract and that no ONE staff forged his signature. He issued personal apologies to ONE Chairman Chatri Sityodtong and to matchmaking team member Timo Ruge, acknowledging that he had been misled by people seeking to profit from his fame.

The dispute was resolved after Rodtang signed a new contract with ONE Championship at a press conference held at Jitmuangnon Gym in Nonthaburi, Thailand, on 23 July. He announced he has cut ties with those who influenced him, and pledged to reclaim the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai world title, declaring “The old Iron Man is back.”
