ROG announces 20th anniversary ROG Xbox Ally X20 handheld and AR glasses

Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the release of the ROG Xbox Ally X20, a limited-edition handheld gaming PC celebrating the brand's 20th anniversary. The device features a translucent black chassis with gold accents and is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, 24GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD.

The handheld is equipped with a 7.4-inch ROG Nebula HDR OLED display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,400 nits peak brightness, and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology. It includes an 80Wh battery, dual USB-C ports, and an Xbox-inspired user interface.

As part of the anniversary launch, ROG is also introducing the ROG Xreal R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses. These glasses can connect via USB-C to project a virtual 171-inch display. The glasses feature Sony Micro-OLED panels, a 120Hz refresh rate (boosting to 240Hz in specific modes), and a 0.01ms response time. Pre-orders and availability for these products have been noted in markets including Taiwan and Malaysia.
