Roger Federer discusses Laver Cup and top tennis contenders

Roger Federer, co-founder of the Laver Cup, shared his insights ahead of the tournament in London, where Team Europe will face Team World. Federer expressed his support for Team Europe as the favorites playing at home, while cautioning that Team World has proven to be extremely strong in recent years.

Addressing the debate over the world's best current player, Federer identified Jannik Sinner as the most difficult rival to beat due to his dominance in Masters 1000 tournaments prior to injury. He also noted that Carlos Alcaraz could be the best in the world when at his peak and praised Alexander Zverev for becoming a Grand Slam champion, suggesting Zverev could be a favorite in specific matchups.
