Roger Federer expands business empire and analyzes tennis elite

Roger Federer has transitioned from a dominant tennis career into a successful business entrepreneur. After earning approximately $131 million in prize money during his career, Federer significantly expanded his wealth through commercial endorsements and strategic investments. A major turning point occurred in 2018 when he ended his long-term partnership with Nike to become a global ambassador for Uniqlo, an agreement estimated to be worth roughly $300 million over ten years.

Federer further leveraged this flexibility by becoming a co-entrepreneur and investor in the Swiss footwear company On in 2019. While exact figures remain private, reports suggest an investment of around $50 million for a stake in the company, which listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2021.

In addition to his business ventures, Federer has remained active in the tennis community as an analyst. He recently commented on the current state of the ATP tour, noting the difficulty of choosing between top players like Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, and Alexander Zverev. Federer highlighted Sinner’s incredible dominance in Masters 1000 tournaments and Alcaraz’s peak potential, while acknowledging Zverev’s achievement in reaching Grand Slam champion status.
