Roger Federer inducted into International Tennis Hall of Fame

Roger Federer and Mary Carillo have been officially inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame. The ceremony took place at the historic Horseshoe Court in Newport, Rhode Island.

During the induction, Federer, who retired from professional tennis in 2022, reflected on his career and expressed that the honor is one of the greatest of his life. His speech focused on the people who supported his journey, including his family, coaches, rivals, and fans. Federer’s career highlights include 20 Grand Slam titles, 103 ATP tournament victories, and 310 weeks ranked as world number one.

Mary Carillo, a former tennis player turned prominent sports journalist and commentator, was also honored as part of the induction class.
