Roger Mina postpones Yale fellowship to lead Cali recovery

Roger Mina, the general manager of EMCALI, has decided to postpone his participation in the Yale World Fellows 2026 program. Mina was the only Colombian and Latin American selected for this international cohort.

He cited the need to remain in Cali to oversee the city's recovery following events on August 10 that affected numerous families. Mina stated that his immediate priority is to provide institutional support and ensure the continuity of services through the public utility company during this recovery phase.
