Roger Taylor discusses Queen's future and Adam Lambert

Queen drummer Roger Taylor has indicated that original new material featuring Adam Lambert is unlikely to materialize. While Taylor expressed regret that the group never finished songs recorded with the former American Idol contestant, he noted that Lambert is currently pursuing a different professional path.

Despite the lack of new studio recordings, Taylor stated he would not close the door on future tours with Lambert, praising him as an unselfish performer with a natural vocal gift.

Additionally, Taylor addressed the challenges of his solo career, suggesting that his membership in Queen has occasionally acted as a negative factor by making it difficult for audiences to view his individual work independently of the band’s massive legacy.
