Roger Taylor releases new single ‘I See You Now’
Queen drummer Roger Taylor has released his new solo single, ‘I See You Now’. The track serves as the second preview of his seventh solo studio album, titled ‘Violence Insane in a Beautiful World’, which is set to be released on September 18 through Columbia Records.
Taylor described the song as a reflective love song dedicated to his wife, Sarina Taylor. A black-and-white music video accompanying the release was created by Sarina Taylor and long-time collaborator Simon Lupton. The upcoming album explores themes of global violence and insecurity.
To support the new material, Taylor will embark on a brief tour across the United Kingdom. The tour is scheduled to begin on September 21 in Newcastle, with subsequent stops in Edinburgh, Birmingham, Manchester, Swansea, and London. Regarding his primary band, Taylor indicated that Queen continues to consider future projects and has not ruled out continuing as a group.
