Roger Taylor releases seventh solo album

Queen drummer Roger Taylor has released his seventh solo album, titled ‘Violence Insane in a Beautiful World’. The 77-year-old musician describes the work as an eclectic mix of songs collected over several years, exploring the juxtaposition of beauty and violence in the modern world.

In a departure from the entertainment-focused approach of Queen, Taylor uses this solo project to express explicit political views. In the track ‘Chump’, he criticizes Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform UK party, describing him as a man lacking morality and qualities. Taylor stated that while Queen focused on entertainment, his solo work allows him to share his personal opinions without concern for others' perceptions.

The album features collaborations, including the South African Ndlovu Youth Choir on the single ‘Come on Summer (It’s Party Time)’ and the track ‘A Beautiful World’. Despite the political commentary, Taylor noted that the album is predominantly positive, emphasizing themes of kindness and love.
