Rogers Communication receives consensus “Hold” rating from analysts

Rogers Communication has received a consensus rating of “Hold” from research firms covering the stock. Among the nine firms providing ratings, five have issued a “Buy” rating, three have issued a “Hold” rating, and one has assigned a “Sell” rating.

Recent analyst activity includes Wall Street Zen upgrading the stock from “sell” to “hold,” while Weiss Ratings lowered its rating from “hold (c)” to “hold (c-)”. Other institutions such as TD Securities and Scotiabank have reaffirmed “buy” and “outperform” ratings, respectively. Barclays recently set an “equal weight” rating and adjusted its price target to $36.00, which matches the average twelve-month price target among brokerages.

Regarding institutional investment, Invesco Ltd. increased its stake in the wireless communications provider by 52.3% during the second quarter, now holding 934,712 shares.
