Rogers Place secures naming rights extension through 2036

Rogers Place in downtown Edmonton is celebrating its 10th anniversary, marked by a major extension of its naming rights agreement. Rogers Communications has renewed its strategic partnership with OEG Sports & Entertainment, securing the naming rights to the Edmonton Oilers' home arena through 2036.

The decade-long relationship, which began in 2013, includes branding, advertising, and fan-engagement assets across the venue. The new agreement also introduces the ‘Rogers Goal Cam’ and a ticket distribution program for customers during the 2026-27 season.

As the arena marks its milestone, officials are looking toward future development in the ICE District. Tim Shipton of Oilers Entertainment Group noted that upcoming phases include fan park development and approximately 3,000 residential units north of the arena. Edmonton Mayor Andrew Knack emphasized that increasing residential density in the city's core is essential for maintaining downtown vibrancy and improving public safety.
