Rohan Jones signs three-year deal with Montreal Alouettes

The Montreal Alouettes have reached an agreement on a three-year contract with tight end Rohan Jones, tying the player to the team through 2028. Jones, a Montreal native and former first-round pick in the 2026 CFL Draft, recently participated in training camp with the Los Angeles Rams but was waived following the preseason.

Jones brings significant collegiate experience to the Alouettes, having played for the University of Arkansas, Montana State, and the University of Maine. During the 2025 season with the Arkansas Razorbacks, he recorded 519 receiving yards and four touchdowns. His decision to join Montreal follows a period of exploring NFL practice squad opportunities, with reports indicating a desire to play for his hometown team while contributing to the Alouettes' pursuit of championship honors.
