Roßhaupten: Three injured after boat trailer detaches on B16

A serious traffic accident occurred on the B16 near the Tiefental Bridge in Roßhaupten on Sunday evening when a boat trailer detached from a vehicle. The trailer entered the oncoming lane, leading to a collision involving two cars and a motorcycle.

Three people were injured in the incident, with one reported to be seriously injured and two others sustaining minor injuries. The B16 was closed for approximately two and a half hours to allow for cleanup and investigation. Police noted the smell of alcohol on the 51-year-old driver of the towing vehicle and have ordered a blood test to determine if intoxication contributed to the accident.
