Rohde & Schwarz announces 2026 Mobile Test Summit focused on 6G

Rohde & Schwarz has announced the sixth Mobile Test Summit, a virtual global forum scheduled for October 2026. The event will focus on the emerging 6G standard and will be held across three separate online sessions on October 7, 14, and 21.

The summit is structured around three core pillars of 6G technology:

1. AI-native RAN: This session explores architectures that unite network operations and AI computing on a single platform to improve performance.

2. Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC): This topic covers technology that allows radio infrastructure to simultaneously transmit data and sense the surrounding environment.

3. Non-terrestrial Networks (NTN): The final session will discuss the use of satellites, drones, and high-altitude platforms to extend wireless coverage to regions beyond traditional terrestrial infrastructure.
