Rohit Pawar denies claims of joining Congress amid political dispute

BJP MLC Parinay Fuke has claimed that NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar is considering joining the Congress party. Fuke suggested that Pawar’s relationship with NCP (SP) working president Supriya Sule has deteriorated, leading to opposition from senior party leaders. He further alleged that Pawar recently toured the Bhandara-Gondia region to court senior Congress leader Nana Patole.

Rohit Pawar rejected these claims as baseless and responded by accusing Fuke of using his proximity to the Chief Minister to protect BJP functionaries involved in illegal sand businesses while targeting opposition workers. Pawar also criticized the government’s handling of agricultural issues, specifically noting the discrepancy in paddy procurement prices between Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh and the failure to provide the promised paddy bonus for 2025-26.
