Rohtak hotel death investigation after woman found dead

A 24-year-old married woman, identified as Ruby from Kheri Sadh village, was found dead in a hotel room near Liberty Phatak in Rohtak, Haryana. The incident occurred at a private hotel on Delhi Road.

According to reports, the woman arrived at the hotel on Wednesday morning accompanied by a man identified as Neeraj. After a period of time, the man reportedly left the room, stating he would return, but did not. Hotel staff became suspicious when the woman did not emerge, leading them to contact the police. Upon inspection, the woman's body was discovered; while one report suggests she was found hanging, another indicates suspicion of strangulation.

Police and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) teams have collected evidence from the scene. The victim's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Investigations are also underway regarding the man, Neeraj, who reportedly attempted suicide at his home after leaving the hotel. He is currently in critical condition at a hospital. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and hotel registers to clarify the circumstances of the death.
