Rohtak police investigate murder of man found in bushes

A 27-year-old man named Sunil was found dead in the bushes near a roadside in Samar Gopalpur village, Rohtak, Haryana. Local police arrived at the scene after receiving reports from passersby and have sent the body for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

According to family members, Sunil had gone to a liquor shop with his friend, Monu, late at night. It is alleged that a dispute arose between the two while they were drinking by the roadside. The victim's brother has accused Monu of striking Sunil on the head and face with a brick before fleeing the scene.

Police recovered several items from the site, including a blood-stained brick, a liquor bottle, plastic glasses, and empty snack packets. Based on a complaint filed by the deceased's brother, the Sadar police station has registered a case and launched a search for the suspect, who remains at large.
