Rohto Pharmaceutical and Nissui launch eye health food collaboration

Rohto Pharmaceutical, Rohto Wellcourt, and Nissui have announced a joint project to promote eye health through nutrition. The initiative coincides with ‘Eye Care Day’ and ‘Fish Day’ on October 10.

The collaboration features a special menu called the ‘Buri Rohto Don,’ which utilizes Nissui’s fully farmed ‘Kurose Yellowtail.’ The dish is designed to provide essential nutrients for eye health, such as EPA and DHA from the fish, as well as lutein and zeaxanthin from accompanying vegetables like kale and broccoli.

The limited-time menu will be available at the Rohto Recipe restaurant in Umeda NU Chayamachi Plus from October 10 to October 31, 2026. Additionally, the companies will serve specialized menus in their respective employee cafeterias and at Iga Hyakka in Mie Prefecture to encourage awareness of the link between diet and ocular health.
