Roig Arena marks first year as major European multipurpose venue

The Roig Arena in Valencia has completed its first year of operation, establishing itself as a major multipurpose venue in Europe. Since opening on September 6, 2025, the facility has hosted over 300 events, attracting between 1.5 and 1.7 million visitors.

The venue's programming has integrated large-scale musical concerts, entertainment shows, Valencia Basket matches, and corporate events. Music has been a primary driver, with approximately 800,000 attendees participating in 125 concerts. Notable international and national artists who have performed include Hans Zimmer, Ed Sheeran, Rod Stewart, Pet Shop Boys, and Rosalía. The record for highest attendance was set by Quevedo, who drew over 19,000 people.

The arena has addressed a long-standing infrastructure gap in Valencia, allowing the city to host large-format international tours that previously bypassed the region due to technical and capacity limitations.
