Rokan Hilir celebrates 27th anniversary with social security for workers

The Rokan Hilir Regency celebrated its 27th anniversary on October 4, 2026, marked by local government initiatives and official ceremonies. As part of the anniversary celebrations, the regional government provided social security protection through BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to 14,583 vulnerable workers and informal sector employees.

During the commemorative ceremonies, which included a plenary session at the DPRD building, Rokan Hilir Regent Bistamam and Vice Regent Jhony Charles emphasized that the anniversary serves as a momentum to honor the region's founders and focus on future development. The theme for this year's celebration is ‘Progressive, Cultured, and Sustainable,’ intended to guide the regency's upcoming development efforts.
