Rokan Hilir hosts religious event promoting Green Policing

Approximately 3,000 people gathered at the Rokan Hilir Police Headquarters in Riau to attend a large-scale religious event commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (Maulid Nabi). The event featured prominent cleric Ustaz Abdul Somad as the main speaker and was attended by Riau Regional Police Chief Irjen Herry Herjawan and Rokan Hilir Regent H. Bistamam.

Beyond the religious observance, the event focused on environmental conservation under the theme of “Green Policing.” Rokan Hilir Police Chief AKBP Aldi Alfa Faroqi emphasized the importance of protecting the ecosystem, urging citizens to avoid polluting rivers, burning land, and destroying forests as part of a commitment to sustainable environmental stewardship.
