Rokas Pukstas joins Middlesbrough from Hajduk Split

American midfielder Rokas Pukstas has officially joined English Championship side Middlesbrough from Hajduk Split. The 22-year-old signed a five-year contract with the Teesside-based club.

Hajduk Split confirmed the transfer, which is reported to bring the Croatian club approximately five million euros. Pukstas leaves Split after six years, during which he made 142 appearances, scoring 28 goals and providing 12 assists. His final match for Hajduk helped the team secure a place in the Conference League.

Pukstas, an Oklahoma native and U.S. Men’s National Team prospect, joins several other Americans currently at Middlesbrough, including Sebastian Berhalter, Aidan Morris, and Max Arfsten.
