Rokas Pukštas debuts in Middlesbrough victory over QPR

Rokas Pukštas made his debut for Middlesbrough during their 1-0 away victory against Queens Park Rangers in the fifth round of the Championship. The 22-year-old American midfielder, who recently transferred from Hajduk Split for approximately five million euros, entered the match in the 84th minute, replacing Sebastian Berhalter.

Although his time on the pitch was limited to approximately six minutes plus stoppage time, Pukštas demonstrated his characteristic physicality. During his appearance, he engaged in five duels, won two, committed two fouls, and executed one successful sliding tackle.

Will Lankshear scored the match's only goal in the 20th minute. The win moves Middlesbrough up to second place in the Championship standings, while handing QPR their first defeat of the season.
