Rokas Pukštas to miss Middlesbrough matches due to injury

Middlesbrough midfielder Rokas Pukštas will miss at least four upcoming matches due to a hamstring injury sustained during an international break in the United States. Manager Kim Hellberg confirmed that the player is expected to be sidelined until at least the end of November.

Pukštas, who joined Middlesbrough from Hajduk Split in late August in a transfer valued at approximately five million euros, has struggled for playing time since his arrival. His limited minutes have been attributed to a late transfer, delays in obtaining a work permit, and high competition within the squad following the addition of 12 new players during the summer window.

The injury will prevent Pukštas from participating in Middlesbrough’s upcoming fixtures against Stoke City, Cardiff City, Bolton Wanderers, and Charlton Athletic. His availability for subsequent matches against Wrexham and Watford remains uncertain.
