Rokhaya Fall indicted in new arson and sequestration case

Influencer Rokhaya Fall, known as ‘Rox la Chancelière’, has been indicted in a new judicial proceeding in Dakar. Following her extraction from prison, she appeared before an investigating judge regarding allegations dating back to 2025.

The charges include criminal conspiracy, arson causing injury, sequestration, and endangering the lives of others. The investigation stems from a complaint filed by Nassirou Fall, who alleged that Fall, her sister Gagnesy Fall, and several accomplices orchestrated a violent raid on his residence.

While Fall is already serving a six-month prison sentence for a separate matter, the judge decided to place her under judicial supervision rather than ordering further detention. This measure includes the confiscation of her Senegalese passport, prohibiting her from leaving the country without judicial authorization.
