Atlanta Braves sweep Dodgers behind Chris Sale shutout
The Atlanta Braves completed a three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers with a 1-0 victory, driven by a dominant performance from pitcher Chris Sale. Sale threw a complete-game shutout, recording 11 strikeouts and allowing only five hits while issuing zero walks. This marked his first complete game since 2019.
The game's only run came in the first inning when Drake Baldwin hit a solo home run on the first pitch from Dodgers starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Yamamoto pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out eight.
