Rokid launches Ai Glasses Style lightweight smart glasses

Rokid has launched the ‘Rokid Ai Glasses Style’, a lightweight smart glass designed for daily use. Unlike the company’s previous model which featured an integrated display, this new version omits the screen to maintain a design closer to traditional eyewear. The device weighs approximately 38.5g and is priced at 64,990 yen.

The glasses are powered by the Snapdragon AR1 SoC and include 2GB of memory and 32GB of storage. Key AI features include integration with ChatGPT and Gemini, supporting real-time translation for 76 languages, AI image recognition, and voice-guided navigation. The hardware includes a 12-megapixel camera capable of 4K photo and 3K/30fps video capture, as well as open-ear speakers for audio and calls.

To address privacy concerns, Rokid has implemented strong indicator lights to signal when recording is active and uses end-to-end encryption for data. The company also announced a ‘Bluetooth Ring’ accessory for more efficient device control, scheduled for release in late September.
