Rokid unveils AI‑powered AR glasses with Snapdragon processor at Open Day 2026

Chinese AR developer Rokid held its Open Day 2026 conference in Hangzhou, where it launched a new line of AI‑enabled smart glasses and its first AI operating system, YodaOS. The AR glasses, called Rokid AR, feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Supreme spatial‑compute co‑processor built on a 3 nm process, dual cameras (spatial + AI), 58° field‑of‑view, 6DoF tracking and electric‑change lenses. The device also supports 4D video playback, on‑device 3D space reconstruction and Gaussian‑splatting capabilities.

At the same event Rokid introduced YodaOS, a four‑layer AI‑native OS with voice wake‑up, sub‑0.2 second response time and edge‑cloud compute splitting. It announced an AI assistant 2.0, AIUI graphics framework and integration with Alipay, WeChat, Gaode and JD for payment and services. The firm also unveiled an AI Helmet for motorcycle and e‑bike riders, and highlighted privacy safeguards such as a camera‑on‑light indicator and full‑chain encryption.

Rokid reported strong crowdfunding results – ¥630 million in Japan’s Makuake platform and US$4.02 million on Kickstarter – and a six‑fold sales increase during China’s 618 promotion. The company said its smart‑glass ecosystem now hosts over 440 market‑available AI agents, with 5,000 under development and a developer community of more than 35,000 registered users.
