Rokiškio Grand Rally celebrates 10th anniversary, eyes European Championship stage

The 10th edition of the Rokiškio Grand Rally will take place in Rokiškis, Lithuania, from 13 – 15 August. Competitors will tackle 17 speed sections covering 134 km of special stages within a total route of 543 km on both gravel and asphalt.

The event counts as a round of the Lithuanian Automobile Rally Championship, includes the Rally 4 Trophy, a stage of the FIA European Rally Trophy and a stage of the Tour European Rally. It is currently the only rally in Lithuania with FIA European Rally Cup status, drawing teams from Lithuania and abroad.

Organizer Audrius Gimžauskas said the growth reflects a ten‑year vision and added, “If we want to host a European Rally Championship stage, we will need a larger team.” He said the rally aims to secure a full European Rally Championship stage in Lithuania within the next two years, pending stricter FIA requirements.
