Roland celebrates 10 years of innovation as 909 Day drum machine emulator launches

Roland Corporation is marking the tenth anniversary of its ‘The Future. Redefined.’ campaign, a major 2016 event that launched over 30 products. The anniversary, running through October, connects past innovations like the Aerophone and BOSS Katana series to upcoming developments. CEO Masahiro Minowa noted that the company is focusing on connected experiences, including Wi-Fi-equipped instruments and the integration of hardware with online services like Roland Cloud.

In celebration of 909 Day, Extra Life Instruments has released the ER-99, a browser-based drum machine emulator. The tool emulates the classic Roland TR-909, providing users with access to its iconic kick, snare, and hi-hat sounds without the need for software installation or downloads.
