Roland Heitz and Janina Korn marry at a junkyard

Actor Roland Heitz and singer Janina Korn, known for their appearance on the RTL reality show "Sommerhaus der Stars" in 2021, held an unconventional wedding ceremony at a car recycling yard in Norderstedt, Germany.

The ceremony took place at the Kiesow car recycling facility following a civil wedding in Hamburg the previous day. Heitz, 68, chose the location as a tribute to his childhood, where he collected scrap metal to earn pocket money.

Janina Korn, 43, noted the unusual nature of the event, stating, "I thought it was a joke... I had the worst fears, in a white dress between old tires and used oil." She also mentioned that her wedding dress was purchased via eBay Kleinanzeigen for 150 euros to avoid damaging an expensive garment at the site.
