Roland Kaiser fans spend 10,000 euros annually on concerts
In the ZDF documentary ‘Terra Xplore: Why do we love Schlager?’, a German family shared the significant financial and emotional impact of their devotion to singer Roland Kaiser. Corinna and Helmut, a married couple, reported spending approximately 10,000 euros annually on concert tickets, travel, hotels, and fan merchandise.
The family has attended roughly 70 of Kaiser’s concerts. They anticipate even higher costs in the coming year due to an upcoming arena tour, noting that ticket prices are expected to nearly double. The family’s home serves as a testament to their fandom, filled with memorabilia, autograph cards, and concert wristbands.
Beyond the financial aspect, the family highlighted the emotional support provided by Kaiser’s music. Corinna noted that his songs offered hope during difficult mental health periods, while their son, Michael, found solace in the music while suffering from an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system.
