Roland Leitinger welcomes second child, daughter Mila

Former Austrian ski slalom vice‑world champion Roland Leitinger and his wife Simone announced the birth of their daughter Mila on 2 August. The baby arrived early in the morning, and the couple shared photos and a message on Instagram, welcoming the new family member and noting that their two‑year‑old son Laurenz will now have a sister.

Leitinger, who retired from competitive skiing in 2024 after a career that included a 2017 vice‑world‑championship in St. Moritz, received congratulations from fellow skiers and the broader ski community. The announcement highlighted the personal joy of the former athlete and his family.
