Roland Mouret describes conflict with Meghan Markle in new memoirs

Fashion designer Roland Mouret has detailed a heated dispute with Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, in his new memoir, ‘I Am Roland Mouret: The Butcher’s Boy Who Dressed the World’.

According to Mouret, the conflict arose following an organizational error by a member of his team. While attempting to arrange the return of borrowed dresses, the employee contacted Kate Middleton’s stylist at Kensington Palace instead of contacting Meghan directly.

Mouret claims that Meghan was deeply upset by the incident, allegedly telling him during a phone call, ‘You don’t understand what you’ve done! You’ve humiliated me!’ Despite Mouret’s apologies, the Duchess reportedly decided to end her professional relationship with the designer, stating she would never wear his creations again. Mouret emphasized that this decision was entirely hers and was not imposed by the Royal Family.
