Rolex to open new 30-story office building on Fifth Avenue

Rolex is set to open a new 30-story office building at 665 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan this fall. The 165,000-square-foot structure replaces a 12-story building originally constructed in 1924.

Designed in partnership with architect David Chipperfield, the building features a sculpted glass curtain wall inspired by the aesthetic of a Rolex watch face. The project emphasizes sustainability through enhanced thermal insulation and advanced heating and cooling systems designed to reduce pollutants.

In addition to office space for Rolex and various third-party tenants—who are expected to move in by early 2027—the tower will include multi-floor retail space and extensive amenities. These amenities include a 12th-floor food and beverage lounge with al fresco dining options, conference spaces, and a tenant-only restaurant on the top two floors catered by a team associated with chef Daniel Boulud.
