Rolio Z Lohe becomes Nagaland’s first FIBA-licensed statistician

Rolio Z Lohe has become the first FIBA-licensed statistician from Nagaland, according to the Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA). Holding FIBA Statistician License No. 41916, Lohe’s achievement is viewed as a milestone for the state’s presence in the international basketball community.

Lohe’s professional development included a six-week Basketball Coaching Certificate Course at the Sports Authority of India in Bengaluru in 2023, qualifying as a WABC coach in March 2024, and appearing for the BFI B Panel exam in Chennai in September 2025. He also completed an internship as a Coach, Events and Operations Manager at the Lakshyan Academy of Sports in Bengaluru in early 2026.

The announcement follows a FIBA Statisticians Workshop conducted by the FIBA Regional Office–Asia and the Basketball Federation of India, which focused on the FIBA Statisticians’ Manual 2024 and LiveStats software. NBA Secretary Sentiningsang Longkumer stated that Lohe’s dedication has opened a new pathway for the state and serves as an inspiration for young aspirants in Nagaland and the Northeast.
