Rolling Stones debut deepfake video and announce July release of album “Foreign Tongues”

The Rolling Stones released a new single, “In the Stars,” and accompanied it with a deepfake music video that recreates the band’s 1970s appearance. The clip, directed by François Rousselet and generated by Deep Voodoo, features a youthful virtual version of the group and actress Odessa A’zion alongside a troupe of dancers.

The band disclosed that their forthcoming album, titled *Foreign Tongues*, will be issued on 10 July 2026. The record will contain 14 songs and include collaborations with Charlie Watts, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith of The Cure, Steve Winwood and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Mick Jagger said the album was recorded largely live in single takes to capture the group’s chemistry. *Foreign Tongues* follows their 2023 studio release *Hackney Diamonds* and is promoted as an exploration of new musical nuances while staying true to the Stones’ rock roots.
