Rollme launches Matrix smartwatch with 4G LTE and integrated camera

Rollme has launched the Matrix smartwatch, a device designed to function with significant independence from a smartphone. The watch features a dedicated SIM card slot and supports 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE networks, enabling users to make calls, send messages, and use internet-dependent applications directly from the wrist.

A standout hardware feature is a unique retractable side camera intended for photography and video calls, providing a more natural angle than traditional upward-facing smartwatch cameras. The device is powered by a Unisoc SL8541E processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, running an Android-derived operating system.

Technical specifications include a 2.06-inch AMOLED display, built-in GPS, and health monitoring capabilities such as heart rate tracking, SpO2 measurement, and sleep analysis. To support its standalone connectivity, the Matrix is equipped with a large 1100mAh battery that charges via a magnetic cable in approximately 80 minutes. The watch holds an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Matrix is available in Night Black and Dawn Gold for an introductory price of $89.99 through the company’s official online store.
