Rolls-Royce, Aurizon, and CAR Group receive analyst updates
Investment analysts have provided updated outlooks for several major companies across the UK and Australia.
In the UK, Rolls-Royce is highlighted for its potential growth drivers, including its exposure to the artificial intelligence sector through power generation for data centers. The company’s Civil Aerospace division is noted for its high barriers to entry, and it is currently engaged in share buybacks.
In Australia, Aurizon Holdings reported strong full-year results with revenue of $4.194 billion, a 6 percent increase, and a statutory net profit after tax of $362 million. Analysts maintain a buy rating on the coal and freight logistics firm due to positive performance in its containerized freight division and favorable global coal prices. Meanwhile, CAR Group Limited reported a 6 percent revenue increase to $1.253 billion and a 14 percent rise in net profit after tax, though analysts suggest a hold rating as the stock remains expensive relative to the broader market.
