Rolls-Royce Cullinan fails to meet auction reserve despite $600,000 investment
A highly modified Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II failed to meet its reserve price at an American auction on the Bring a Trailer platform. Despite having only 386 km on the odometer, the vehicle did not attract bids high enough to satisfy the seller.
The SUV had undergone extensive customization by the British preparer Urban Automotive through a ‘Widetrack’ program. These modifications, which included a carbon fiber widebody kit, aggressive bumpers, and 24-inch forged wheels, cost approximately $162,900. When combined with the original vehicle cost, the total investment exceeded $600,000. The final auction bid reached $555,551, falling short of the required reserve price.
