Rolls‑Royce unveils Spectre Series II with up to 628 km range and higher power

Rolls‑Royce Motor Cars has launched the Spectre Series II, an upgraded version of its all‑electric ultra‑luxury coupe. The new battery cell technology raises the WLTP‑certified range by about 18 % to 628 km (390 mi) and cuts charging time by roughly 14 %. In the United States the model now uses the North American Charging Standard (NACS), giving owners direct access to Tesla Supercharger stations and an EPA‑estimated range of 308 mi.

Power output is also increased. The standard Spectre Series II delivers 593 hp (442 kW) and 1,015 Nm of torque, while the Black Badge variant reaches 670 hp (500 kW) and up to 1,100 Nm in its “Spirited” mode, making it the most powerful Rolls‑Royce ever produced. Exterior changes are minimal, but a new “Ethereal Blue” paint finish and 23‑inch forged alloy wheels have been added; the Black Badge receives an “Iced Black” matte trim.

Inside, Rolls‑Royce expands its Bespoke offerings with new materials such as Duality Twill – a bamboo‑derived fabric stitched with up to 2.6 million stitches – and Placed Perforation leather featuring over 78,000 precision‑cut holes. A new walnut veneer with glass‑flake lacquer, an illuminated dashboard fascia of 8,108 light points, and a redesigned aviation‑inspired clock complete the luxury upgrade. Pricing starts around £350,000 (≈ $398,000) for the standard model, with the Black Badge version higher in the £450‑500 k range. Sales of the Spectre fell 47 % in 2025, yet it remains Rolls‑Royce’s second‑best‑selling model worldwide.
