Romagna dioceses gather in Sant’Alberto for Day of Creation

Dioceses from the Romagna region, including Ravenna-Cervia and Faenza-Modigliana, gathered in Sant’Alberto for the Day of Creation. The event focused on the theme of spiritual connection to nature and the importance of environmental stewardship.

During the liturgy, presided over by Archbishop Lorenzo Ghizzoni and Bishop Michele Morandi, participants reflected on the gift of water and the need to protect natural resources. The ceremony included an offering of water from local rivers by representatives from five dioceses, serving as a gesture of gratitude and a plea for better conservation following recent flood threats.
