Romagna female-led businesses see structural shift despite slight decline
In the Romagna region of Italy, female-led businesses have seen a slight decline of 0.6%, bringing the total to 14,845 active enterprises. This figure represents 21.2% of the region's total businesses, a rate slightly below the national average of 22.7%.
Despite the overall decrease, the structure of female entrepreneurship is shifting. While individual enterprises remain the most common at 64.7%, there has been a 1.9% increase in capital companies. Conversely, both individual enterprises and partnerships have seen declines.
Sectoral trends show growth in administrative, support, professional, scientific, and technical services, as well as a slight rise in manufacturing. However, traditional sectors such as commerce, agriculture, and hospitality have experienced contractions.
